Group needed to explore talking cave.

Plot Synopsis

They group meets Cicero and he informs them that he has heard rumors of a talking cave. He wants to go there, but traveling alone in strange places can be a bad idea. Pay is agreed to and they head out.

Through the portal they end up in a jungle. Setzer takes to chopping up the plants while Cicero takes samples (potential plague cures). They eventually reach a clearing. Neftia see something in the air that Selina identifies as kites. They continue towards the mountains. Once they arrive at the cave they begin shouting in and hear something…echoes. Eventually they venture in. Setzer ends up in a hole fully of what appears to be very warm compost. After a nice spraying they continue.

They hear voices coming from a large room. Upon investigation they find one voice source is a small boy and the other appears to be the cave. There is much discussion among them as well as with the cave (that the boy has named Steve). The boy takes to Neftia (and her candy supply) and is eventually convinced to come with back to Jearn. The party decides that angering the cave would be bad and leave as soon as the child will go with them.
