Newbie Campaign first session Sea of Demons
Plot Synopsis
The party stands in the townsquare of Haven where they hear the town crier yell out about war crimes and they go to the constable to get supplies and more information. The constable tells that 3 towns have been pillaged and there were only 3 survivors. The party goes to find them to ask questions about the attack. Orstes threatens a refugee of war with his gun, expecting the man to respond. Needless to say, he was mistaken. Gorgavesh comes in like a reasonable person and actually talks to the man. The party finds out that the raiders left a single survivor from each village. They all get ready to go and investigate. They had a fun time with war crimes and found each town razed to the ground and dead bodies everywhere. They found a series of messages scrolled in blood. “Hail the Chained Ambition.”, “Soon comes the age of strife.”, “We are the red dragons and weak will be allowed.” “War is coming to Ageron, and none of you will be able to stop it.” “In the name of Asmodeus, the lord of endless war.”
They get back on the water, they are ambushed in the mist by a long boat of Red Dragons. After a long fight, they capture an enemy and prepare to go back to Haven. They happen upon an empty shipping vessel and Gorgovesh investigates. The rest of them debate leaving for some reason. Gorgovesh finds a single survivor on the boat, an iron star guild member named Kray. They get back on the ship and sail back.
