The Crystal Torgon
Plot Synopsis
Adventurers were summoned to handle the sudden emergence of a rare form of Torgon from within the crust of Jaern and to handle it, killing or relocating as needed to avoid harm to the population, at the behest of Kyle Ironheart and his contacts on the island, the Holger family. The group tracked down and began engagement with the Crystal Torgons and their parasitic mites, learning more about them after concluding combat with one dead and the remaining two talking in a translated fashion to the party to explain that they were pushed out of their natural environment by a sudden break in the crust allowing them to come and escape their natural predators below to eat and reproduce on the surface. A Crystal Torgon was sent to the plane of fire, another was sent to Remnant, and the dead one was carved and studied while eggs were split (some were also cut up for parts.) After emerging victorious, the party found the Holgers to be a pure-blood lineage of Lycanthropes who offered their bite to several party members.
