In a grand final battle, the party confronts the demon who had possessed the first violinist of Soren Leclair's orchestra. Coins melt and meld to form most of its body, which resembles a sea monster. The identity of this demon is not revealed, and it only speaks once: "Seems I must do everything myself." After its defeat, the bank vault it had transformed into a watery arena returns to normal, and the party leaves the encounter with 700 gold each, looted from the demon's ill-gained profits. The nobles in the orchestra's attendance have been evacuated to safety, and Leclair's future and career remains to be seen. He announces his hiatus from touring and composing a few days after the confrontation.
