Dead Man's Waters - Escape from Eastbank Prison, Session 4
Plot Synopsis
Upah quickly reacts to the fire and spouts it away, claiming the third of their ships (perhaps they shall call it "Meat", as that's why they stole it). They also capture the captain and rescue a Verraerian along the way, who was stuffed, and stuffed into one of the meat barrels for some reason. The meat barrels have a nice smell. They, called Suffix by the peoples, don't seem too brave, but then again, who would expect an already 10' lizard to grow to 15' and "kindly" grab you? Suffix seemed to have been on a good-will trip from his hometown of Featherton, but that's far from here, so there must be something else going on. Poor bird's clothes don't fit very well.
The orc captain isn't giving them any information when the two lizards capture and tie him up on the mast. In fact, he seems oblivious to their overarching quest; he just intercepted a shipment of meat and that was it... from what he tells them. Rather than killing him (which he seems to be perfectly okay with, even encouraging the group to), Ignita and Upah (instructed by Mirdus) reconstruct a prison keep in the Bababooey. The hold has remnants of jailing material from when it was used by the Tor'ite ghost crew, so it checks out. Their trip to Port Saleen has no other interruptions.
