Plot Synopsis
Party investigates an abandoned research facility that apparently was one that did studies on time and magic.
Upon investigation, the party discovers the existence of an artifact called The String. This artifact protects the timeline of the plane it is on. Preventing the past from being tampered with and spell effect such as reveal the past from being altered. Ages before the collapse, the priesthood hired scientists to create tech to potentially defeat the technologists uprising and the cult that grew from it. The angels destroyed it to allow mass immigration to hide where they went. They also used the facility to invade a certain location that is only visible in a narrow window.
