Plot Synopsis
The party went met in Nerii where they decided that investigating the ruins below once again was the best option out of the ones presented to them (Venturing North, finding a way back to the Capitol City, and investigating Nerii.) There, Ramses was able to deal with an incredibly powerful bird with a burning mark. It became bored and stopped attacking them about 1/5th the way through the fight. They then they evaded a fight with a new aberration that was infected with both the demon plague and the soulblight. before challenging Exodia to a children's card game. Exodia accepted, while the Fionna attempted to make sure the floor wasn't lava (It was, oh no!) They made a deal with Fioran the Mad to free him from Aynia. Afterwards, the party attacked a smoke creature, Ramses rateburning several times to make sure the entire party didn't die from the hundreds of centipede creatures converging on their location. They were able to kill it to death, and then proceeded to find a huge green flame inside of the depths of a Cathedral. They fought a giant monstrosity that someone lucked to become a catgirl. Fionna killed herself in order to utilize her soul as a soulspear. She wrestled the enemy's soul down and then the fight ended. They ignored the hirer and gave things to Faustus while Angela lead Fioran to his death. After a grueling duel, Fautsus was narrowly able to beat out Fioran with his army and friends at his side.
