Lady Chelsea's yacht was only an hour out of port when it seemed to collapse in on itself and go under. Priests from the Solarium were notified and beam ported there within minutes. No survivors were found. This horrible accident brings to a close a year filled with tragedy and despair.

This accident also bring an end to an era. Lady Chelsea, beloved daughter of Baron Wills, was the last Great Lord of Centralia. Even as we mourn the loss of this great, young woman, we mourn even more for ourselves and what we have allowed to slip away from us.

Lady Chelsea's body resides at Sepulcher awaiting interment. It was given into the care of Anubis by the Tower whos members arrived at the scene of the accident only seconds behind the Solarium.

In the aftermath of Lady Chelsea's death, Leader Prem called a meeting of all of the highest ranking artisans, priests, magi and merchants. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the future of Centralia and to create a new governing body to oversee city management and trade issues. This unprecedented meeting evoked the following comments from Leader Prem:

I can't do it all myself. We need to be strong at this time. We need to be united. I've gathered this Assembly to take over the job of doing what needs to be done. I've done what I could, but it really isn't the place of any priest to lead governments. Leading a government requires making decisions... hard decisions... decisions that my convictions may keep me from making.

These are all good people. People we've grown up with, know and trust. We'll be OK. They know, or will, what needs to be done and I think we can count on them to do it. They can make the hard decisions because they are men and women of character.

The Assembly has asked me to complete my work in constructing our Navy (a distateful but necessary piece of work). Once complete authority is to be turned over to the Assembly... again for which I am thankful. I extend my thanks to everyone who has helped me, and Centralia, during this time and ask that you extend the same curtesies to those who succeed me.

The Assembly is to be composed of representatives from Centralia and Pregada that represent the various interests of our Cities. Rulings are to be based on a simple majority with a five day appeals process.

It has been two days now. Why is the Sepulchre not releasing our Lady's body so that we may give her the burial she deserves? Anyone reading this, I entreat you... let us mourn so that we may move on!
