Lord Charles wants adventurers to investigate a Dragon sighting
Plot Synopsis
The adventurers are told about a Dragon sighting which is scaring the locals and wants the adventurers to look into it. They go to the village where the Dragon was sighted and get information. One of the adventurers get his room broken into in the middle of the night and his money stolen. They find the Dragon and Hannah gets its attention and the Dragon greets her and tell her that he is an old friend of Lord Charles and was supposed to meet him there. They bring him to Lord Charles where they have a conversation and the adventurer whose room was broken into suddenly attack Lord Charles. He is lightning bolted to death by the air mage, but Lord Charles brings in a healer that is able to bring him back to life. They determine that the person the broken into his room likely captivated him to do this. They go back to town in an attempt to find to person involved. Hannah locates the only Psion in town drinking in the bar and he is subdued. It is discovered that he was hired by a representative of Lord Vren to kill Lord Charles. His is left in the hand of Lord Charles for punishment. Also word is sent to the king of all of the plots they have discovered against Lord Charles. Frank the Carriage Driver is sent with a guard with the messages they wish to deliver to the King.
