Hook

Need adventurers to retrieve an artifact for me.

Plot Synopsis

Adventurers were randomly teleported to a Tardis, which had been moved by the doctor to a planet named Elpis. some people initally freaked out, but got over it. They met up with the Doc, who had goner to the bathroom when they had teleported in and he explained that he was hiring them to find a thing called Aether, which is a red, mercury like substance with powerful magic properties. Payment would be silver, and whatever was looted from the vault. Adventurers went on their merry way, to a bar on the side of town. There, serapheal cast chaos, and everything was covered in a inch of fake gold, including people. Chaos ensured as everyone tried to get as much as they could, and some other adventurers tried to sell it, but immeaditly found it was fake. umm... stuff happened. then eventaully they got a lead that it might be in a place called the "vault", which every adventurer in town was seeking. they bought some helmets that let them survive the vaccuum outside the city, and then they investigated a cave system where lots of people had died. there they found a cave in, and someone who had been stuck behind it for months. they found some information on the vault, and that it was beneath the city. They decided the next best option would be to see the mayor. so they went to his office, met the secratary, who went to go tell the may or that a king was here to see him, where she found the mayor dead in his office. chaos ensured as the CL4P-TP customs bot was HORRIBLE at figuring out what had happened. they eventually figured out a man named Jack had shot him, but not why. and they set off to a mine beneath the city, where the vault and jack was. They got through the dungeon and found Jack with another adventuring party at a giant vault door. Right then, the CL4P-TP bot that berwyn had given a gun to before ran in, and started shooting at jack.... very badly. like -10 MOD badly. the other partys earth mage found it funny to cast a magnetism spell to make the bot spin at 60 RPM's. and the bot kept shooting, accidentally hitting stella. A fight immeaditly ensured, and since the other party was not expecting a fight, and the Raite didnt have time to cast zone of order before his friend got his head blown off, almost hte entire other party died. They eventually opened the door, and went inside. There they found the Aether, and the guardian of the vault. who was virtually indestructible, since his only weakness was sunlight, and they had killed the ra'ite. they managed to get the aether because Berwyn tanked over 100 damage from it (still not sure how), and cal managed to distract it long enough to grab it too. they swiped 3 of the nearest items, in addition to one they had grabbed earlier. and got out before the guardian killed more people. They delivered the Aether to the hirer, and those who didnt get items got silver. the end
