Hook

Adventurers needs to guard some traders. Meet the guard master at the docks in Province Landing.

Plot Synopsis

The adventurers meet at the docks and are told they are being asked to guard some Onivero traders while they meet in the city. They are told the Onivero ship will arrive in a few hours. When the ship arrives, a large crowd gathers. Seven Onivero debark from the ship and Bluttrausch's werepanther roars at the crowd to get them to part. While moving through the crowd, a party member spots someone pull a dagger and tackles them. Four more assassins pull daggers and a fight occurs. Bluttrausch misses the assassins with his laser, but manages to kill two innocent people in the crowd with it. The rest of the crowd runs away fearful of getting killed or blamed for the incident. Two Onivero get stabbed, but none die. The Onivero do nothing during combat.

When at the government meeting place, the Onivero and three officials meet privately. During the meeting, a fireball goes off in the room. The adventurers rush in and get everyone out as another fireball goes off. Only adventurers remain in the room as a third and fourth fireball also go off. Berwyn messes around under the meeting table where we discovers four items attached to it. While messing around with them, an invisible assassin backstabs him and combat ensues. The assassin teleports away after a little while. The meeting happens again in another meeting room and this time goes well. The assassin returns to the previous meeting room and stabs Berwyn some more and teleports away again.

The Onivero make it back to their ship and Berwyn waits until night when a larger Onivero ship comes into dock and unloads boxes of cargo and then loads other boxes of cargo.
