Brave adventurers wanted to test the skills of another. Join at your won risk! If you are brave enough and think you are tough enough go to the Stopover Inn by 6-14-10041 at 2pm and ask for Gene Shelly.

Plot Synopsis

Once the group arrives they meet Gene Shelly who tells them she is a doctor (the non healing kind) and she wants them to try and get to the center room on the third floor of a four-story house. Her and her assistant, Dr Moreau, have used creatures to defend this building and they want to see how efficient they are.

The first floor provides little resistance and most of the spider webs are burned. Dalgon opens a window to allow is some fresh air (and unbeknownst to him a annacumba, the large spider-like creatures that were created). Once the first floor was looked through the party promptly splits up. The first group stays on the first floor to burn spider webs and rearrange furniture. The second group heads up the stairs to the second floor. The first group (consisting of Daglon, Beso, Kitt, and Gabrielle) encounters its first annacumba. They make pretty easy work on it.

The second groups goes through the second floor and notices nothing of interest. Before they proceed to the third floor Kitt joins them. On their way to the third floor Paul gets webbed into the stair well. This prevents anyone from passing. He is also Claw warded so that the spiders are unable to hit him. After trying several times the annacumbas begin to push a chair down the stairs at them. D'leyna manages to force Paul up against the wall and block the incoming chair. The chair is then webbed in place.

The party finally gets together and works there way though this webbed stairwell. Where they have another combat with two of the annacumbas. There is much fire and much webbing involved. After a grueling, and rather long, combat Paul makes a hole in the wall and the party has a little healing powwow. They then make it to the middle room, find the box they need and abandon the building through windows and such. They then head to the basement where they try to burn it, even though it is made of stone.

They make it back to the ship, get paid, and make their ways back to their places of origin.
