Adventurers needed to rescue a kidnap victim. Meet Eleyna at the Spectral Meteor.
Plot Synopsis
Eleyna told the party that her friend was going to be kidnapped in about 6 hours, but there was no way they could get there in less than 3 days so she needed people to go rescue her. After some disbelief the party came to believe that she really was a seer and they agreed to help. They were also told almost as an afterthought that if they failed to rescue her she would be sacrificed to release the Demon Lord Asmodeus who would destroy the world of Roak that they are going to.
The party fought off a few strange creatures on their way to the Purgatorium, an ancient temple where the kidnap victim was being held. They fought their way in and found her with a guy with purple robes, a magic staff and a pink crystal imbedded in his forhead watching over her. After a very long and tough fight with both Angela and Tanis near death they finally killed the guy.
After some debate Angela decided to touch the crystal and gained the ability to breath a small amount of fire. She had to stress her already low wil and use a Rudri Luck Amulet to avoid having her mind taken over and now permanently thinks she is an illusion. Tanis also touched the crystal after making himself indomitible and gained the creature disability empathy but could not be taken over since he was indomitible.
