Hook

The characters arrive on their own schedule. Those that mention to the head waiter that they seek Movar are led to a reserved table at the back of the main dining room.

Plot Synopsis

The party was hired by a disguised new priest of T.or who called himself Soldat MacArthur under the pretense of helping the understaffed and overworked Enclave in Rougtero capture a killer running loose on the streets of Gendle. They were informed to bring the killer back alive if possible; dead if not and to make sure all his possessions were there. The killer was reportedly a rogue priest of Anubis name Mardon. The party traveled to Gendle without incident and began by asking the local constable, a man named Smith, to help them with their mission. He gave them a list of the people who had turned up dead and where they had been killed. The party did some investigating and were able to figure out that Mardon had left the Lojem area and sailed northeast on a ship stolen from the harbor. The party was able to track him to a sea cave on an island about 3 days northeast of Lojem; once they tracked him down, they entered the cave and started to assault him and his undead minions. Once all his minions were slain and the party was getting ready to assault his person, they all were immediately teleported to Infero to Walker.s desk. Walker informed them of an appointment with Anubis, to which they were shortly ushered. All of them were then informed that Mardon was a special servant of Anubis and they had really been hired by a priest of Almar disguised as a priest of T.or. He then gave them a Quest (as in the spell) that cannot be revoked by any means; the details are laid out on the magic item card (JDG079). The basics were that they are to foil the priests of Almar at every turn possible; suicidal measures are not required, however. Tanis tried to smart off; he told him .Silence, you naïve Hirudo. or some such. He then sent the party home.
