Back in Black 5 (The final part. The Beneath)

Plot Synopsis

The party arrived at the field of battle. moments away from finally settling it with the demon Belphegor. the party with the help of the spirits of the 666th division stormed the castle and confronted Belphegor who, upon seeing the party arrived. revealed his master plan and finished the ritual that forced Cahyali to become one with the Beneath and wiped out all life on Cahyali. those that were on Cahyali died in an instant and their souls gathered and collected by the ritual. the party knew what they needed to do and through a long and fierce battle against Belphegor and his minions. the party was aided by several individuals they had met on their travels and even from beyond, the great Kijin Sunraku even entered the fray to help. After a final struggle, Belphegor failed and the party defeated him with the final blow coming from Sochi. the party had finally won, the survivors of the 666th division had their revenge but at what cost? all of Cahyali had died in the process.

However. all was not lost. Rik through his new found powers gained a vision and he foresaw how Cahyali could be saved. the party made their way down to the 6th layer. Golgotha. It was there that Rik took upon himself the cross and carried it to the great mound that would become the birthplace of the resurrection. the party was instructed to crucify Rik and though many of them refused to at first. they saw no other options as the last survivors of Cahyali. with tearful goodbyes and weeping. Rik took the ultimate sacrifice and absorbed the weight of sins and virtues alike as he died upon the cross. as he did. a great light enveloped the world and for a moment they laid upon a golden beach and were greeted by a figure that simply said "do not weep for me, for I shall return in three days time". the party then were returned to their home. Cahyali was saved and reborn as if nothing had happened. the world was reset and the party were reunited with friends and family. the party then shortly received visions of a cave with a boulder infront of it in the northern most area of Shinneok. racing there the party waited for 3 days.

on 9/14/10081. the boulder was engulfed in light and a great thunderous crash was heard. the party awoke and saw the boulder moved. and out came Rik once more though for a while they did not believe it was him until he showed them the wounds on his hands, feet, and side. in the end the party returned safely home, and only they would remember the death of Cahyali and it's rebirth.
