Plot Synopsis
The group met with Commissioner Zheng Chen, and received a few consumable items to help with their mission, and Floki was given directions to find Long Huangdi on his mountain island in the Sea of Fog.
The group sailed the Pars Caligo to the small, unnamed island and Floki met with Long Huangdi and discussed how to control his powers and magic, and the cyclical and bounded nature of Creation and Destruction, Yin and Yang.
After that, the party teleported themselves through Ignita’s pocket grab to Kayakusei, in the midst of the hurricane and the military lockdown. They found a hole-in-the-wall motel, and checked themselves in, learning that a curfew was in effect each day from 10 PM to 6 AM. After checking in, Ignita snuck out to do some reconnaissance, learning that the walls and gatehouse of the town was being used as a military fort, where documents, plans, and the new Commander of the RCA’s occupation can be found.
Meanwhile, Reese Hale disguised himself as a maid, and infiltrated the other motel guest’s room, after learning that he was a member of a rebel organization working against the RCA. Reese found out that the spy (name unknown, a water elemental human), worked for Kamiya Kaho, the wife of the current acting warlord of Juuken and the RCA’s Most Wanted, Bakuhatsu Kenzo. The spy was convinced to bring Reese and the rest of the party to meet with Kaho, where they can try to earn her trust or die by her blade for knowing too much.
