Plot Synopsis
ARC 1:
Firehammer Hold.
Party is recruited by Fyen to go and assassinate the former princess of Vesuna. They are further recruited to aid Fyen in performing a covert campaign across parts of Ageron to shift political power to Vesuna. Party agrees and they head off to Firehammer Hold, a place where the princess hid in the past and is one of the few places with active portal connections to her off planar estate. Fyen gives them a dagger made from minerals found mainly in the Kroan desert. Party make their way to FireHammer and negotiate their way inside, pretending to be from Tephis. Inside they decide to impress Thom Fire(Hammer?) by proving themselves the most skilled in their field of art, in this case cooking. They settle into FireHammer and begin to mingle with the people, every once in a while seeming to mention they're from Tephis.
Sesh 2. Next day. Party begin to prove their incredible talent ( read 15 die cooking checks) and systematically dismantle other aspirants hoping to curry favour in a similar way. After cooking, poisoning, flirting, and otherwise making their way to the top, party gains ann audience with Thom Fire and requests that they be allowed to present a meal to him and the ex princess.
Sesh 3: Same day, late evening. Party gets their meeting arranged. Their weapons are taken from them and it is ensured that they have no such objects on them. Despite this, they sneak quite a few weapons and deferred spells thanks to Ravanal and Maestro. When they finally meet the ex princess and Thom Fire(Hammer?). They get the jump on the guards and begin combat. One long and gruelling combat later, they are victorious, with the ex princess being body destroyed, Thom Fire(Hammer?) 's head being decapitated and kept by Ravanal, and the guards soul destroyed. The dagger is left in the room, half of it chipped in the girl's body, the other half having been broken in an explosion. Party then makes a quick escape, using a mix of bombs and teleport spells to end up outside FireHammer by a few miles.
They regroup in a town. a few hours outside Vesuna, where Fyen (disguised this time a costermonger) thanks them quite profusely, assures them of payment, and tells them of their next step, to make their way to NorthFace and Haven, after waiting a few weeks.
