Plot Synopsis
The party wakes up again on the Nueva Shinkansen, though some things are different, Ren has taken Clint’s spot on the train and Clint himself is nowhere to be found. After a fight with some bandits, the death of Volke due to Rilo trying to shoot a horse, and Lorenz taking the two living bandits into “custody.” Volke magically comes back and kills Rilo in retaliation, who also comes back after some time.
The party then meets with Clint again and describes his situation to him, and he seems to trust them with his life. The party prepares to fight the Sunborn woman who seems dead set on taking Clint’s life and manages to stall her for a while though she manages to still kill Clint killing Jitu in the crossfire as well. Then, time loops again and the party find themselves back in the Library.
By this point, the person managing this plane introduces themselves as The Librarian, caretaker of The Library and all stories that have been made throughout every plane and beyond. They explain to the party that their enemy is a void entity known as White-Out who actively goes in to completely destroy stories before they are over, ruining them forever. Armed with this knowledge, the party enters the loop again to take out this threat.
