Plot Synopsis
Upon seeing the creature it shoots and arm out at Rik and it is seen that it can't go below the 25th floor as it crushes him against this barrier. Meanwhile everyone else jumps into action. Suiken and Ujyaku parachute in, Uriel jumps and has a slow fall ready, and Cyrus jumps. He lances through the arm holding Rik breaking right through and then falling 35 more floors on the ceiling. He’s alive, but barely. A head eats Uriel and Ujyaku casts chaos on it, summoning Sunny to the battlefield. Rik contacts Rosy who teleports in via the communications stone. She sets up an area of forced dueling and the fight continues.
Uriel hears Angie shouting about straight damage not working so they teleport to talk to her and discover that they need to find 23 failsafes to weaken the creature (which as it turns out is a golem named Amrwd.) They also find out within the lore that Angie is the original golem who’s consciousness has been swapped with the intruder who killed the people that made the golem. This was due to a ritual gone wrong and as a result there are multiple bodies of Angie that it seems like the golem can take control of as avatars (as seen when this Angie’s eyes turn from black to red and she lunges at Uriel.) Uriel kills her and gets a skull and smashes it, taking down one of the creature’s eyes.
Meanwhile Suiken goes catatonic after hookshotting an eye and relives a memory from the past. After realizing he has no friends he wakes up with a ribbon in his hand. Cyrus is confronted by a fake version of himself who takes his stuff and transitions to look just like him as he rises up towards the battlefield with real Cyrus dangling 20 feet below him. Rik hears a 2 line poem and sees a vision of a golden void with an elf who speaks to him and knows his parents. He wakes up with a sunflower in his hand after this. Ujakyu gets pushed into the forced duel arena and Suiken jumps in and that’s where it stops.
