Hanakawa Days 3 (Chongbai, Ruefang, Cahyali)
Plot Synopsis
This week on Hanakawa Days: The group went to Chongbai with Takeda and ate a ton of ramen and raw onions in pursuit of Samsara Aka. Along the way, they dueled Unyun-Kriip, the owner of Kriip and Sons Onion Emporium. After satisfying their lust for blood and onions, the gang breached the wall of the ARD’s Mechanical Department supply warehouse (where the Rizzler was thrown through a wall and ultimately died during his attack on the city a week prior). Here, they found receipts that added up to the components of the bladesmechanica from the fair. They also talked to R-alpha(Ralph), a mechromantic camera, about the lady in the red hat who always comes in every week with a new order. Upon receiving the message from her new boss, Megumi Kindaka—the lady in the red hat—immediately invited Null and Bosie to lunch at Ichiraku. Bosie was able to determine that the stain on the letter taken from Kira matched the broth in Megumi’s bowl, and when pressed about the receipts Megumi dodged the question. The other party members broke into the ARD Mechanics lab, which was right across the street; Megumi got the security alert and periodically left her lunch appointment to go attempt to fend off the attackers. She got grabbed, but nobody saw her face due to her impossibly high speed. When Megumi, Null, and Bosie arrived in the lab for a tour, they arrived to find havoc being raised and acid being spilled. Megumi accused the invaders of having broken in previously, using footage that had been doctored as evidence. Due to her lack of magic she was unable to see through the obvious edits. The party has found Samsara Aka, but they have attacked her on her own turf.
