TSB;EoA: Amid This Somber Sleep Session 5 (The Library of Archser, The Dreaming)
Plot Synopsis
The party is out of the mines and meets up with everyone else. They were able to get the ore and fashion it into this small beetle that glows red and flies around them. Placing out a hand allows the bug to land and bite them and when it does they can send a message or matter to the island or other party members. Cyrus also reunites with Uriel, as well as Galaxy-Eye washing up on the island. After the meeting with Kea where the parties are given information on their new jobs. This group is told that they need to go back to the Dreaming and find information on a place called Recordatio.
Party leaves and catches the 2 new people up while they travel. Realizing they don’t know where to go they use the beetle to contact Kea and find that they need to go to this library by a lake that Rik recognizes from a past adventure. Ujyaku, who has a book, gives it to Rosy to use as a way to lock onto the library. Party travels for seemingly 3 days and arrives in this place where land is coming apart floating into the sky. They eventually come to a lake without land, like a model held together in a way that doesn’t make sense and a library.
They enter the library and find it abandoned and empty except for a slightly lighter dust pattern indicating life. The party splits up to look for information and find that the library is tall. Long story short Ujyaku, Cyrus, Galaxy-Eye, and Uriel meet up and find this small humanoid named Angie. Uriel and Angie interact and let them know something dangerous lurks in the upper floor of the library. Meanwhile Rik has been going up and after getting to the 21st floor, he teleports up 5 floors via short port. Here he sees a dark creature, its bodies lit up by these blue lights along it showing its scales. This body wraps around the floor and on the other side gnarled claws grip the railing to the open air middle and in the dark 20 eyes focus on Rik and Galaxy-Eye who had flown up.
