Weeping Spirits part 4-8
Plot Synopsis
(This is going to be a bit of a shoddy summary of games 4-8 as a lot has happened due to the changes made in the campaign)
Through an incredibly long journey the party was able to retrieve a piece of the amulet that will transcribe the elder runes, the runes they need to defeat Kristoff. the runes being the great rune of life and frost. the party met with Kristoff once again and prevented him from stealing the great rune of life. taking it from a greatly weakened Freyja. after talking to Freyja and learning some of her story. the party gained the great rune of life. the rune inscribed itself onto both the amulet and on Liv's Body. speeding through a bit the party took some time to bond with one another and meet with their new party member Thorkell after Nakai needed to leave to investigate other parts of the Kurago. the party then met with Skadi, the Aesir goddess and Jotunn was drunk but party sobered her up and they bonded.
From Skadi they learned the final rune was located in the great northern mountains of the Kurago proper. a place where it is inhabited by spirits of nature and the wilds. including those people that have forsaken civilization and become one with the wild but did not go to Osiris. there the great Ursus, another powerful spirit and gate guardian keeps the elder rune of frost safe along with the remnants of the Aesir gods Bragi and Odin's grandfather Buri. the party convinced Skadi to stay with them for a time and through some shenanigans and taming a powerful bear spirit, the party made good time and arrived at the mountain where they met both the Aesir gods and the great spirit. after some time talking and more shenanigans including a good old fashioned Norsemen late night partying. the party obtained the elder rune of frost as well as gained a blessing from the spirit of the Great Ursus.
EXP: 10,800 (this should be the lump sum if my calculation is correct from all the sessions. if not then I apologies)
Noteworthy Postgame Events
