Destroy the Boilermaker Special (Purdont University, Erth (GM Plane))
Plot Synopsis
The party met up on the plane of Erth, with a mysterious hirer informing the parties about a small train that they were finally fed up with. They hired the party to destroy the Boilermaker Special. He gave the party a bit of information and promised each of them 180 gold as payment. This was somehow feasible despite him being a broke college student. He also offered the party Paroli to English dictionaries, but only Agni took one. This book allowed her to begin learning English.
The party set out towards the Purdont Memorial Union, where they could supposedly find more information. Unfortunately, they walked in the middle of the road and upset a stranger named Robert. Agni tried to apologize and comply, while Galaxy-Eye was convinced he had to try and murder Robert. A lot happened, including some Yogurt-Skull guano getting everywhere, and Yogurt finding some special “rock candy” and “powdered sugar” in Robert’s car. This all came to a head when Ouros casted Friends on Robert, which calmed him down over the situation.
Robert led the party to the location where the Boilermaker Special was stored. Galaxy-Eye summoned a thunderstorm to scare away the guards, and the party took the Special out on a joyride, with Taka preparing gasoline and matches. As they rode into the Windiana countryside, they were stopped by a hulking figure known as Purdont Pete. After a very tough battle against the large man with the electric hammer, the party severed Pete’s arm. Yogurt tried to lift Pete's hammer, but found himself labeled as "unworthy and lacking in GRIT." Thankfully, he could carry it as long as he had the severed arm. Ouros and Agni got some blood samples, and Taka was extremely traumatized. As they were leaving, though, Purdont Pete began to seemingly rise from his grave and ascended into the sky, leaving behind bits of void, revealing him to be an eldritch beast. They escaped the eldritch cornfield trying to grab at them and got their pay. At the end, Agni began attempting enrollment in Purdont University so that she could study in spare time.
