TSB;EoA: Amid This Somber Sleep Session 1 (Ochr Arall, The Dreaming)

Plot Synopsis

After landing in the Dreaming, investigating a river where their reflections attacked them and gave the visions of fears or the worst outcomes of things and setting up a camp in the dead of night. The party encountered a woman named Pola who made a deal to bring them to a city to help them get information about getting to Mordrik in exchange for helping to get her out of the Dreaming since she is apparently trapped there. They seal this deal with a handshake.

Party makes it to Setser, the city of stars, quite literally inhabited by stars and although a quaint town has a lot of venues to the point where it feels odd that so few people are out and about. Party makes some deals and loses some memories. Some are more important than others, like losing the memory of the Archmage being an ally’s mother. Cyrus exchanged information relating to a dead body for some poison patches, Ujyaku trades a tea set for a spherical cow, among other things. By the end the party learns from a memory vendor that the Sun has the information they need,

The party visits the Sun aptly named Sunny aka the Sunset Maker, one of the Vesatki pirates who used to roam Cahyali. He will give them the information they seek if they kill someone for him. This someone being Rosy, aka The Scarlet Blade. At this moment Rik gets a call from Rosy and she knows he’s in the Dreaming and may cash in that favor. Then Sunny says they need to decide if they’ll take the deal. Party wants to know more so he sends Rik out of the room and explains that he killed the original Scarlet Blade, Rosy’s mother. Party doesn’t like this and attacks which leads ot combat and that’s where the session ended.
